Coax to Ethernet Adapter

It might work but if it does, you will only get 10Base-2 speed out of it - 10Mbps half-duplex or about 5Mbps usable.

If you want decent speeds over coax, you need MoCA or HPNA adapters.

This balun is intended for video over Cat5, not Ethernet over coax. It is a passive device, and will very likely not work for your desired application.

As mentioned, a MoCA or HPNA device is what you need.

Ok thanks, I will find either a MoCA or HPNA adapter as they seem to be what I need.
