COD BO2 PC Crash on startup

Hello!

My problem is that my game keeps crashing everytime when i launch the game... This crashing started when i upgraded my gtx 960 to gtx 1070. My drivers are on date and i have ran dxsetup, vredist and verified game cache.. nothing works. I've also uninstalled the game twice. My PC specs are:
i7-6700k
16gb RAM
GTX 1070
ASUS MAXIMUS VIII RANGER
What is the problem? Thank you for all the answers

Is this the only game having this issue? Also, what is the make/model of your power supply?

Yes this is the only game.. i have corsair 550W 80 plus gold power supply

From where did you get the game installation files? Also, with the GTX 960 was the game updated (all patches/updates applied)?

Did you update your video drivers AFTER installing the GTX 1070?

yes i deleted drivers and installed gtx 1070 fresh to the PC.. and what do u mean where did i get installation files?

Did you install from commercial media (DVD) or from an on-line source? If on-line, what source?

you mean the drivers? i installed them from nvidia geforce experience

When installing the game from Steam, do you know if it is fully updated before you try playing?

i dont know.. all i do is install it and select place to install it and then let it download and then run it and play.. but what do you mean with that fully updated?

After installation, many games will have updates applied to them to correct stability, performance, or game defect issues. This is very common. Steam will install those updates automatically.

You can use Steam to verify updates and integrity of game files.

Try this:

Right click the game in the steam client.
Go to properties.
Go to updates tab.
Drop down menu on automatic updates.
Choose high priority.
Reboot steam client.

Do you still have the GTX 960? If so and you reinstall it, does the game work?

Does the game work if you remove the GTX and use your integrated video adapter?

hmm.. i haven't tried it.. should i try it? and i understand that you meant that remove the gpu and try boot the game with cpu graphics?

This is a software issue and not a hardware issue. How many other Steam games do you have? Do they all work properly?

all of my games work perfectly.. even older games..
