Hi,

I am receiving very poor FPS in Call of Duty: Warzone (about 12 FPS in lobby) as well as my game will freeze entirely for about 10 seconds when walking into new areas of the map. I thought this was strange, because my PC is above the recommended specs for Warzone provided by Activision. According to their website, the recommended specs are:

OS: Windows 10 64-bit latest update
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600X processor
RAM: 12GB RAM
HDD: 175GB HD space
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 / GTX 1660 or Radeon R9 390 / AMD RX 580
DirectX: Requires DirectX 12 compatible system
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

I have a Lenovo prebuilt from a year or two ago, with the following specs:

OS: Windows 11 64-bit latest update
CPU: Intel Core i7 9700F
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
Motherboard: LENOVO 3704
BIOS Version: O4BKT17A (Released 11/30/2020)
RAM: SK Hynix HMA81GU6JJR8N-VK DDR4 (x2) = 16 GB

Is there anything I can do to improve FPS? The only thing that I could think of was that I am on Windows 11, rather than 10. I'm using the settings from this video, though I have tried other settings with no dramatic change in FPS. I am open to an upgrade, but would like to try all other options first. Please tell me if there is any other information I can provide that would be helpful and thanks for the help!

You're right, that does sound weird. Aside from the fact that Warzone isn't optimized that greatly, you shouldn't be getting THAT bad perfomance. What are your temps while playing? GPU usage?
