I can run both crysis and cod 4 max without lag and I have to say cod 4 is better. Cod 4 has better reflections and i think it just looks a whole lot smoother, but it is newer than crysis so that can be expected. Overall, Crysis had great graphics for the time it was made, but now its graphics are second rate compared to newer games like far cry 2, gta 4, Fallout 3, and assassins creed.

i can run cod4 fully maxed out, AA and everything, on my 1680x1050 22' monitor.

specs: core 2 quad @ 2.5 ghz, 8800 GT OC'd (still the best graphics card for an affordable budget), and 4gb DDR2 mem. ive considered OC'ing my cpu, but hey, whos gonna bother once it works so well, huh? 😀

great

what a crock

The games aren't comparable, the single player crysis maps are like 50 times the size of the single player BO maps. COD looks much better on lower end systems, but it's practically on rails and lacks the freedom that Crysis has.

Crysis: unoptimized, visually attractive graphics even by today's standards
COD4: optimized, visually attractive graphics back in 2008, not-so-attractive nowadays

* not taking gameplay into account
