So, today, I came back from my holidays. I turned on my PC, and only my primary monitor was working. After that, I checked device manager, and I saw this code 43 on my GTX 760. Now, after few hours of trying to fix this thing, I've done: updating my bios, reinstalling drivers, factory reset of my PC and installing older drivers. Now I've checked dxdiag and in the display tab, I can see a Microsoft Basic Display Driver instead of my GPU. Does this mean that I just have a dead card?

Thanks for any help.

The Hardware IDs look fine. I was just thinking it somehow was using an onboard but it looks like it is using and seeing your GTX 760.

Is this the hardware that came with the system or did you add the GPU after buying it?

It is possible that the stock PSU cannot power the GPU properly. Most PSUs in OEM systems are designed to power the system as is and if you want a better GPU you normally want to also upgrade the PSU to a better quality PSU.
Everything you have stated is what I would suggest for basic troubleshooting. The only other step would be to take a known good GPU and install it and if it works then that would be 100% proof that your GPU is bad.

It does sound like it. How does the GPU show up in your device manager?

What are the rest of your specs?

If you go under the device manager and right clock your display adapter then go to Properties, click on the Details tab then under the drop down select "Hardware IDs" do you get a PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV....? The important part there is the 10DE which is nVidias vendor code.

I will probably test other GPU on thursday so that will surely tell me something.

I don't really know what you mean with "how does my GPU show up". It's just under the display adapters tab, with the yellow triangle next to it.

My specs are:
i7 4770
Hewlett-Packard 2AF3 (some info about it: http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/hewlett-packard-2af3/ OR http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03748942 )
8GB DDR3
460W PSU
1.5TB HDD + 16GB SSD for faster system

Under "Hardware IDs" i have 4 of the PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV.. things (https://gyazo.com/dcfeb861ce7a4f1d7e5d43ebb45edf96).

Thanks for your time.

Yeah, my friend who does know something about computers will come to my place and take a similar GPU of mine to test it in my PC. So after that i should know if it's just dead and buy a new one. Thanks for your help.
