Coffee lake bottleneck

I bought an i5 6400 for my gtx 1070 and it was bottlenecking. Will the i5 8400 also bottleneck?

8400 is giving great performance from what I've seen so far, roughly 7700k gaming performance for $184. Hit it!

But if you already have a z170/z270, you might be able to find someone ditching their 7700k for $180 soon enough
