coil whine even when not under load

my gpu is ASUS dual 1060 3gb. and it whines alot, even when not under load. how can i fix this?

probably lite, which is most likely the cause.

Not all PSU's cause coil whine but it is possible. It happens at the card level too. It is an industry wide known issue that nvidia is working on to fix. Sometimes a GPU replacement solves the issue and sometimes not. The best way to troubleshoot is to try the card in another PC or swap out PSU to see if thats the culprit. Coil whine can happen with certain hardware combinations.
