[SOLVED] Cold weather shooting with Canon M200

Hi all.
I will be getting a Canon M200 mirrorless camera soon. I know some of the basic ins and outs of shooting but am very much a novice and this will be the first real digital camera I've owned.
It's getting into winter where I'm at and I know this camera won't operate once it gets too cold. How do you all deal with cold weather shooting? Is it advisable to put one of those single use iron filings hand warmer in the camera bag (wrapped in a towel - not directly touching) with the camera?

TIA!

Put inside your coat. Your body heat is plenty.
