colors change..strange...

With my Samsung 19" 955DF monitor I'm getting very good and crisp picture, but sometimes my picture just SUX! it suddenly becomes greyish-blue... For exmple:
I turn my computer on and my Windows blue background looks so blue, crisp and nice...I launch any game and after I get back to windows the picture sucks! then I try to restart - same thing, I guess it's not a game problem...
and then I may go make myself a sandwich, come back and see the nice screen again! I know I never saw going from one blue color to another. I need help. It's not my vid.card, not drivers....

do you have another monitor to test with, or another system that you could test the monitor on?
i would systematically figure out what is causing the problem..
i am guessing that it is the video card, since you said that when you turn the comp on, it is good, and then when you play a game, and go back to the desktop, it is all discolored...
some video cards leave the color and gamma settings to the ones that the game sets...
although it MAY be the monitor, i would test that thing out on another system.....just to make sure.

yeah....I play Anachronox and when I launch the game the gamma changes and the game starts in a second.....I guess that's it! But I use GeForce2 MX 32Mb with 21.81 drivers!

yeah, but even with new drivers and stuff like that, sometimes you will get that unwanted effect...
what you can do to quickly remedy it is to open the display properties by right clicking the desktop, and then going to the advanced properties of the video card under the settings tab. find the gamma control, and either it will reset itself when you open that window, or click the default settings button...
that should return the display to its normal settings!
