Question comapatibility

Is a new Quadro P400 graphics card compatible with a dated GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H motherboard?
As I am having trouble getting the card & drivers to install

The card should work, in my opinion. Did you insert the GPU on the PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot ? What problem are you facing ? Do you have the latest BIOS installed on this system ? Though, the last BIOS version is from 2014.

Are you booting in Windows 10 OS, or some other OS ? Provide your full PC specs. If the card still doesn't work, then there might be some compatibility issue with the Motherboard.

I looked at those...
but stopped as there are different versions of this board listed...
would the version number matter??

I am using win 10 pro, these drivers will install on a newer computer.

I get a 'incompatible with system' error on the older computer (circa 2012).....

am thinking the the bios is out of date as it has never been updated.

Which version is your Motherboard, rev. 1.0, rev. 1.2, or rev. 1.1. This shouldn't matter at all though.

I really do not know, should I be able to find that out....
did a windows check routine (it was win*** something) and it returned .for that field.
