combine 2 dell 490 to make a better machine. help

Hopefully this is the right location where to ask my big question.
My office is given away some dell 490 with xeon 5140.
Because are very old machine i thought to combine 2 machine in one adding the second cpu and second graphic card.

Do you have any idea if is it doable ?

if your motherboard supports two CPUs, and you have the same CPU in there already then by all means do that. the second graphics card will only be of use if both it and your motherboard support crossfire or SLI. you could grab it as a backup. One thing you really should do is grab the RAM, if you have any empty RAM slots fill them, as more RAM is always a good thing.

Do you know if that motherboard is gonna support a 1600mhz ddr3 ram ?

From the specs:

I don't think DDR3 existed when this Dell was designed.

That is a DDR2 sounding build. so DDR# is not usable, but it sells well on ebay.
