Combing drives and installing os

I have 4 HHD for an old system for a friend. I want to combine all 3 and use them as 1. I then want to install Windows 10 pro on the virtual 1 disk. I tried doing this and got an error when installing the OS via USB. 2 are 300gb drives and 2 are 500gb drive. The system is old and only has 4gb of RAM, I plan on upgrading the specs. But for now just want to know how to make 2 or 3 drives act like 1, and then install Windows on the. I don't know if this makes a difference. I would prefer to have the 2 300gb and 1 500 gb, but whatever works.

The only way to do this would be within Windows Storage Spaces, and I'm not sure of the exact steps to get there.
But this is a seriously bad idea.

Why do you want to do this?
Windows and applications have gotten really really good in managing multiple drives and drive letters.
