i am giving up my "half" of my computer to my wife, and i
want to merge all of the information/"favorites"/cookies
from my user login to my wife's user log-in. how do i
collapse all of the information that is attached to my
user address to my wife's?

The information is provided "as is", it is suggested you research for
yourself before you take any advice - you are the one ultimately
responsible for your actions/problems/solutions. Know what you are
getting into before you jump in with both feet.

It is a tedious task. Cookies can not be shared. Favorites and Address
book may be imported. Folders can be shared. Anything placed in THE
Shared Documents folder is available to all users. The only simple
answer is keep one log-on and use different mail/news readers or webmail
to have some privacy. IMHO
