[SOLVED] Command And Conquer General Mac OS No Cd Crack

So i bought a game called Command And Conquer Generals 1 a couple of months ago. While the game was good having to insert a CD on my CDless Macbook air via USB cd drive was a pain. But a couple days ago i found a 'crack' that allowed me to play the game without a CD. But whenever i try and launch the 'crack' it's comes up with this error message:

If it were me, I would copy the DVD to the hard drive by creating an .iso image. Then when I want to play the game, I would run the .iso using a program like Daemon tools lite. It creates a virtual optical drive and the game will see the .iso as it would the real disc.

You will have to do some research on how to rip the game disc to the hard drive. You can't just copy the files to a folder. It has to be an exact image of the whole disc from the first bit to the last bit.

I wish I had thought of that myself.. That is a good, legal, alternative to the No-CD cracks.

I have read alot of thing saying that anything that bypasses a games built-in security, such as a no-cd crack, is not legal. They may be allowing it for this game, but from my understanding, 99% of the time this is illegal.

You may need to install the “No CD Crack”. Do not worry. It does not make your game illegal. It just makes the game run without CD/DVD.

What you consider legal and what is technically legal are not necessarily the same thing. We have already offered a legal option, make an iso image of your disc, mount it in daemon tools lite, and use it as if its the real disc.
