If you login to windows 10 and are met with a Command window instead of a desktop
You can type explorer.exe to get into windows but a more long term solution is to edit a registry entry
Before you do that, please backup your registry - Backup/restore registry
There were separate Registery entries for Winlogon, The one for:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
was set to %comspec%. Deleting this fixed the problem.
