I managed to find an OCZ Platinum 2GB DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit for less than US$ 100,00, but always had in mind having a OCZ 2GB DDR2 PC2-6400 Titanium CL3 Dual Channel.

So, I did not find out any comparisons or benchmarks, even because they operate at different frequencies. I usually OC the RAM, within reasonable limits. Could you advice me about the performance of those models, or maybe some link to some comparison or discussion about it?

Thank you very much.

What are the timings of the first one
i think the yare 5-5-5-x (since its PC2 8500)

DDR2 800 doesnt have a noticeable difference with DDR2 1066 and
DDR2 800 OCs good too

The second one has better timings since is CL3 so i say go for the second one

But as i said @ the first of my post, plz post the exact timings of both

The first is 5-5-5-15, but EPP.

And the other is 3-4-4-15

Surely better timings, and OC's very well, but beats the PC28500? And how would a PC28500 OC, regarding temperature (I have a 120mm fan right on front of the slots) and stability?

Thank you very much.

So definitely go for the second one it has better timings well the difference as i said isnt much and both will OC well but as i said before go for the one which has lower timings thats more important than DDR2 800 vs 1066

Ok, thank you Maziar. I'll have that in mind. Lower timings are definitely a point.
Would any one have some comparison about their performance, either benchmarks, comparisons or real life experiences?
