I am planning to buy an I3-6100 processor for my current PC build... Just wanted to enquire if it would work on my existing Motherboard MSI A75MA- G55 Military Class 2

No. Intel CPUs do not work with AMD boards.
Look for Intel LGA 1151 boards.
