Compatibility i5 and h61m-e

All in wondering is if this board concretely supports the i5 3470 out of the box with no updates. I have done some looking around and so far its mostly yes but I just wanted some help to be doubly sure and not waste money around. Since it says on the website that its supported around bios 0312 which is the lowest from what ive seen I guess that means yes its supported out of box?

yes it does, if you have bios 312 or higher

Essentially what I'm asking is if the lowest bios is 0312 then doesnt that mean that the i5 3470 is supported natively.
