Question Compatibility issue i3 9100f

Bought a h310m bio star hd pro, used it on my i3 9100f, doesnt work. in the cpu support list it says its comaptible with i3 9100 but not i3 9100f. do i need to flash bios or change motherboard?

If the i3 9100f is not listed in the CPU support list, that means it's not supported at all, so a BIOS update won't help. You either need to buy a CPU that's in the support list or buy a motherboard that supports your i3 9100f.

I bought this G.Skill ddr4 8 gb 2400mhz 15cF4-2400c15S-8GNT and its not booting with my h310m hd pro bio star.(i3 9100f)
is it the ram problem or cpu and mobo compatibility issue? thank you

probably cpu, try boot with 1 stick just in case

Think you need to update bios first to make this cpu work. Other "f" cpu's are supported so see no reason why the 9100f shouldn't work after update.

Do you have a GPU installed, or are you connected to the non-functioning integrated graphics output of the mainboard? (For an 'F" series CPU, you have no onboard graphics...just in case that was an issue as well)
