Hi,
Recently I have decided to upgrade my system to be able to run some of the newer games that are being released. Instead of upgrading my entire laptop, I am considering using this option : (using the mini pcie slot of the wifi card to hook up and external AMD GPU).

This option had worked for a friend who had an alienware m17 and upgraded the GPU to desktop gtx 980.

From what I have seen, people have mixed opinion regarding compatibility with their machines. \

I have a Toshiba satellite C850-A824 which runs with a i5 3210m 2.5 GHZ processor with 12gb RAM and Radeon HD 7500/7600 series graphics card.

I wanted any recommendations from anyone who might have done something similar before I invest in these setups.

Kind regards,
Rupak

the adpators work good for what they are i was skeptical but using a few on my set ups no issues & adaptor is cheaper than a video card & most video cards can handle a alot urs will work with an adaptor no issue
