Compatibility of GA-880GM-USB3 Motherboard with Amd Radeon 7970 3gb graphic card. Also please Suggest suitable power supply.

i am upgrading my graphic card from HD 5670 to Radeon HD 7970 3gb . Can any one please help me with the compatibility check along with my existing gigabyte motherboard GA-880GM-USB3 Motherboard .
Can i use 7970 with this motherboard?
Also please suggest any good power supply.

i do have power supply right now but it wont be capable for handling7970 i guess...
I will go for 650 w so that it wont create much hassle in future...
Can you guys pls also ans my one more query like...
Do i need to purchase any high end cabinet for installing 7970 or it should be fine with the regular cabinet ?
Currently m having below cabinet (though worried about a 7970 card length)

Have u looked into my current cabinet ?
Is that fine because i personally think, its not having good ventilation ..
Reason being only 2 fan slots of 80 mm.
so thats y m confused.

Yes i think you are right...will upgrade to better gaming cabinet for long run.
Actually my frnd is coming from U.S and i told him to bring gigabyte hd 7970 oc version which is around 309 $ on amazon and alot cheaper than here.(here in India it cost around 500$)
so should i buy this from U.S as m concerned about the warranty that if something goes wrong will i able to claim it in india?Really not getting any ans on this.

Yeah write ..but m thinking to take that risk because its too much bargain...and m getting high end card in the price of mid range here in India.
Also my pet retailer is having bitfenix merc alpha ..so can i go for this or shinobi is the best investment?

Gigabyte hd radeon 7970 oc 3gb Ddr5 graphic card..
Seasonic psu 620(which u have listed)
Bitfenix Shinobi cabinet ...(thay we discussesed)

Can you pls also help me with the amount of fan i can use for good cooling with shinobi caninet?
So i will order it together...dont wanna take any chances with non-warranty 7970 .. 😛
Will use same retailer website for buying fans(for ur reference)

Thanks dude ....i was about to ask you for those cabinets
But one this is comparebly bad with them if we compare it to shinobi..
like shinobi has more than two usb port in front.
and i use them pretty often for wireless mouse,controller,smartphone charging etc .so i was thinking like having more than 2 usb port in front will really help.

also one more reatailer has stock for shinobi though its not trusted one as flipkart for perfect delivery.

And buddy m still really confused about GTX 760 & AMD Radeon 7970(Non Ghz edition).
Which one i should go for because some bench marks says that GTX 760 is better than 7970 and some other way around

So i will go for 7970 but dont u think sapphire is better brand than gigabyte so should i go for Sapphire 7970 oc with boost?
