Unfortunately no. Even if you got past the CPU bottleneck you will be held back by a lack of a UEFI BIOS environment which the latter cards need in order to boot into BIOS.

Answer is no. You will do good to move past the aged Core 2 platform and invest in something like RyZen or an entry level Skylake/Kabylake platform.

The best GPU for you would be something like a GTX650.

So gtx 650 will work on my computer than the 750?

That statement would've held true if we were dealing with the older GTX700 series cards that came out of the factory prior to 2016. As of late if you do your google search+your search on the forums here you'll see that the GTX700 series cards and aabove(+equivalent AMD counterparts) have been showing nothing but a black screen not due to Windows 10's wonky driver issue but because the new VBIOS is based on UEFI as opposed to older cards.

+ Yes I've had my fair share of fix ups to know that bit.

OP,
You can risk it and get a GTX750 but if it doesn't work for you, you might want to see if seller will give you a refund/exchange. I'm merely stating you go for the last possible card that will operate on your platform however you must realize that you will be severely CPU bottlenecked for which the only thing I can safely ask you to drop in is an HD5770(found 2nd hand ofc from Ebay).

I see. How about a gtx 660 will it work on my computer? And lastly which would you recommend, a gtx 650 or 660?
