[SOLVED] Compatibility of Ripjaw V and Aegis in G.Skill rams

Greetings to the community.

I bought a Ripjaws V DDR4-2400MHz CL17 8GB Single Channel about a year ago.
I wanted to buy another ram to match this one.
I was wondering since I can't afford to buy another exact match of this ram due to unavailablity issues,
Can I buy an Aegis DDR4-2400MHz CL17 8GB Single Channel to match the one I own?

What do you mean?
Does this has something to do with the manufacturer's region?

Sometimes people have no problems running mismatched RAM.

Other times, PCs won't boot, even with two identical sticks of RAM purchased seperately.

So you can try, and maybe it works fine, or perhaps you'll encounter stability issues and other problems.

So it is not guaranteed it will work, you'll only know when you try

I'd recommend buying a matched RAM kit though, if you can somehow find the funds to do so. Only matched kits are guaranteed to work together
