Compatibility with Watercooler

I dont understand how compatibility works when it comes to watercooling, I have looked up a few things in different places but its rather hard for me to understand without a straight answer, is this community able to help?

MotherBoard: ASUS Z170-P
CPU: Intel i7 Skylake 4 core 6700k
Watercooling (I want to get): Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2

Water-cooling typically depends on your case. Different cases support different size radiators.

The H100i has a 240mm radiator, so your case will need to support a 240mm radiator.

FD R5 should fit 280mm rad such as H110 on front, if you mostly CPU intensive such as Corona Render (force CPU at peak performance over 1 hour) then yes H100 is among top compatible cooler for LGA 1151 offering decent cooling to keep CPU from throttling down.
