I'm trying to run a program on windows xp home edition that is only about 4-5
years old. I've tried all possible compatibility combinations to get the
program to work, but every time I attempt to load it, the window never
appears and I remain at my desktop. Can anyone tell me if there is another
way to fix compatibility issues besides the wizard, or are there just some
programs that won't work on xp regardless. Thanks!

There just some programs that won't work on XP regardless! I have found 5 or
6 so far out of the ones I would like to use.

You may get better assistance if you posted exact software name and version.
