compatible color printer for XP SP2

Hello,
I realize this is a very old question and the threads date back to 2005, but.

I am looking for a compatible color printer that will work with a standard image of Win XP SP2. We cannot patch it or upgrade it at this time so we are stuck.
The computer is an HP desktop, either an rp5700 or a DC7600 CMT

Click: Settings>Printers and Faxes>Add Printer
Choose the port, (method of connection you will use)
Do not have XP find your printer, choose from list.
Look through the list of printers that XP has native drivers ready to use and get one you like.
Cancel Add New Printer wizard until you acquire the printer and run wizard again to install that new printer.
