I've been browsing for a aftermarket cooler for some time and decided to go with the NZXT Respire T40 when I found out recently that my mobo (Asrock A88X-ITX+ Mini ITX Mobo) has a vrm on its back which does not allow mostly any aftermarket coolers to be installed. I am still not sure if the NZXT Respire T40 could be installed or not so if anyone knows please be sure to tell me. The only one I could find that was compatible was the Noctua NH-L9a because of its optional backplate-less installation. So I was wondering if anyone else has this board or knows of its compatibility with other coolers. Could you please tell me?

Also - for high cpu temps, you should check what's causing it. If re-seating the cpu cooler didn't work and you're still getting 110C (I hope that's core temp and not case/package temp). Can you download and run HWINfo - Sensors and post the resulst? It juts might be voltages - from psu, as set or bad mobo or just wrong fan rpm/fan profile.

I've installed a new HWMonitor by NZXT called CAM. It still shows the same temps. 90-110 degrees while gaming.

If you're not overclocking it, the cpu cooler isn't doing its job. Try turning up the fan rpm. Clean out the cooler. Re-install the cooler with new thermal paste

If you're overclocking it then get a custom cooler.

But don't let it get to 110C again. That'll kill the cpu.
