I need help finding graphic cards to play games and i dont know if any are compatible

My budget is $400 but only want 4-6 gb graphics card.
I am playing Rust, GTA 5, and other games like fps CS:GO and CoD

400 USD? if so, you can buy a GTX 1060 6GB, and that will be able to play games at 1440p ultra preset easily. Any GPU is compatible on any motherboard, so you don't need to worry about that.

What does you friend mean by "you can't"? I think he meant that your CPU would bottleneck the GPU. But that doesn't stop you from installing it though.
