Hey everyone, I'm a rookie to PC building and I'm looking at saving up for and building a PC over this coming year...I just wanted to check (I'm fairly sure) that all these components work together and with the case. I'd really appreciate any comments on this, thanks :)

Intel i5 3570K CPU
Asus P8Z77-V
nVIDIA GeForce GT 440 graphics card
8GB RAM (could someone help me specify type?)
CiT 1011B MIDI case w/ 500W PSU case
Western digital Caviar black 1TB hard drive
Intel 330 series 120GB 2.5" SSD

I'm not sure about cooling fans...
Thanks

CPU is good for gaming and overclocking
Motherboard compliments CPU
WD Caviar Black is a good choice
SSD for boot/OS is a nice addition
Now for a ram recommendation
I would personally look at 1600MHz-1800MHz ram perhaps the G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314 the price seems right
Now for my negative feed back
The GT 440 is not going to be very beneficial (if you already have that, it'll work - if you don't there are better options)
Going to recommend against purchasing a case with the PSU included as those PSU's tend to be among the lower quality units (not always but often enough). Keep in mind that your computer's operation and health is dependant upon the power supply
That's all I got for you, hope it helps some
