Recently my computer has been unplugged several times while it was still running, about 5 or six times. Nothing noticeable has changed about my computer, besides one thing. My internet connection drips out every 30 minutes or so. I've tried everything from unplugging, and replugging in the power to the modem, same with the Ethernet cable, and restarting my computer. By the way it's necessary to mention I don't use wireless internet. I've also called Cox and that was a failure, according to them my computer was online, so I gave up. My question is, could the computer becoming unplugged have caused this? If so, how can I fix this? (Excuse any typing errors, I'm doing this on my cellphone because, well, my internet won't work! Good times)

Firstly, lets find out what the faulty component is. Can you test wifi? If you can, and it works, then the problem is isolated to your pc. We can work from there. If you can't, or it fails, then try test the router with another device. If this fails, it is a router/internet issue.

Ah, very good idea. I've never really used Wi-Fi before, I have a desktop PC. So, i'm not exactly an expert on it, but if I'm not mistaken, the only way to do that would be for me to have a router? If so, I don't actually have one.
