Approx Purchase: Immediately

Budget: up to $1100 for pc & around $500 or less for 2 monitors

System Usage: NO GAMING - HD Video Editing, Full Adobe Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Muse, Dreamweaver most used), Camtasia. Often have multiple media heavy web browser tabs open as well as multiple programs open at any given time. I also watch a lot of HD video and watch HD streaming video whilst having multiple programs open.

Parts not needed: Mouse

Country: AU

Parts Preference: intel i7 4790 ( not really sure if I will need/use overclocking), Prefer a Fractal R4 case but not necessary. Will also need a wifi

Will also need OS

I've tried to put together my own build but every time I start I end up second guessing myself and have made zero progress in 3 weeks. The only solid decision I've made is the intel i7 4790

I have never built a desktop before and have only used pre configured laptops hence why I'm finding it difficult

I would a apprentice some build ideas so I can pull the trigger and buy this thing already.

Thanks in advance.

AU builds are tough to do. Instead of i7 4790, save some cash and go with a Xeon 1231v3. Roughly same performance, as an i7 4770, for less. Motherboard was the least expensive ATX board I could find, that supports Haswell refresh chips, right out of the box. Normally do not choose Z97 boards, for non overclock builds, but AU prices are jacked up, even worse than the UK. It will allow you to run faster memory, at least. GTX 750ti for any Cuda acceleration. Wanted a quadro, of some sort, but none to be found. PSU isn't one I would normally choose, but given the prices, and its placing on the PSU tier list, I figured it would be good enough, for this build. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html...
