Hello! I'm currently writing for a friend.
She downloaded a virus by accident, mystarting123, which took control of Chrome and started downloading other malware.
Now she can't turn on the pc anymore. There's only an error message and then the entire thing shuts down.
What's the message? We have no clue, it's all written in symbols. I guess the virus changed the font as well.
Not to mention, her pc wont turn on safe mode. If she presses f8 nothing happens. We got the "windows wasn't shut down properly" screen but only ONCE, and when we tried entering safe mode from there the thing shut down.
We are really lost, especially since it's exam season. She needs to wait until monday to call an expert. In the mean time, does anyone have some advice?
