[SOLVED] Component Branding Optimisation

I am building a new pc and I would like it to be optimised obviously. However something I'm curious about is the branding of the parts.

If I build using an Asus motherboard and put a gigabyte nvme m2 ssd with another random brand psu, will there be a performance decrease? does brand matching actually matter? and if so how much?

Ehh, possibly.

If the component has software, like a corsair icue, and then you have another brand with something similar it will require additional system resources to run multiple programs. But this is more with peripherals than core components.

It should, but you should check the QVL list for your motherboard to avoid any potential incompatibility. QVL lists can be found on the motherboard support page.
