I've been having this problem for a few weeks now across multiple games.
I'll get less than 5 minutes into the game until this happens: Picture
The screen will freeze on that picture, and my computer will reboot.
The only fix I have found for this is lowering my graphic setting. However, I have a GeForce 1080Ti, So I shouldn't have to lower my settings at all. I should be able to play on max settings.
I just built this PC a few months ago so I doubt it could be a hardware issue on my end. I've already had the old GPU RMA'd and the new one is doing the same thing, which leads me to believe it's not the GPU at all.

Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus IX Code
Processor: Intel i7-7700k
RAM: 32GB DDR4
Hard Drive: 500GB M.2 Samsung SSD w/ 4TB Hard Drive
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080Ti FTW3
PSU: EVGA 850W Gold 80+
Monitor: Dell AlienWare 34" 120 Hz
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64bit

Thanks!

Do a ram test, CPU test (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool), check health of SSD and HDD with CrystalDiskInfo, do a malware scan with Emsisoft Emergency Kit/Zemana Antimalware/HitmanPro/AdwCleaner, uninstall your current drivers with DDU(http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) and install the latest driver available.
