[SOLVED] Computer automatically turns on when plugged then turns off after 3 seconds.

I forgot to plug the 12V ATX 4 pin connector to the motherboard and I made a mistake of plugging it in when I the motherboard is already on. After that the computer just automatically turns on when the PSU is plugged in then turns off seconds later. I already tried using a different power supply but same results. Also reseated the CMOS battery and Ram sticks nothing changed. I'm thinking that the motherboard is dead but is there a chance that the processor is also damaged?

You damaged the motherboard most likely. Maybe the gpu as well. You never plug stuff in with hot power. Yes you may have damaged the CPU as well
