While playing games such as fallout new Vegas ,gta v,7 days to die, for varies amounts of time my screen will go black then lose connection to my pc as if id switched the pc of ,then the pc will become unresponsive including keyboard and mouse ,num lock and caps lock wont change if i press them the light will stay on or off and the only way to turn the pc of is by using the power button ,it has also happened twice when browsing the internet ,but rarely.

ive checked my drivers there fine ,ive also monitored temperatures for my cpu and gpu which also seem fine.

any help would be appreciated.

specs

cpu-fx 8350 with evo 212 cooler oc 4.2ghz using oc genie on mb
gpu-msi r9 390
motherboard -msi krait editon 970A
ram-10gb ddr3 ( 1x 8gb stick and a 2gb stick)
psu-750 watt corsair cx750m
OS windows 10 not activated due to me recently replacing the mb and its deactivating my windows

Edit-since posting this thread I have tested the 8gb ram stick using memtest its fine I also played some games with the 2gb stick still removed the problem still occured
It then seemed to stop happening for a number hours in which I played gta5 with no problem ,after closing gta I left my room for not even 5 mins and ehen I returned my display of and the computer had locked up again ,I thrn switched of the pc using the power button, only problem now is the entire pc will not power up,ussaly when I switch on the power supply my mouse and keyboard will light up but this isnt the case meaning there is no power reaching my system ...

I have been using HWIN to monitor temp and when playing games I've been using it with MSI afterburner and rtts ,
Gpu temp - 60-65 during gameing
Cpu temps- 20- 25 idle and it runs in to the 40s when gaming

Both the motherboard ,Gpu and 2gb ram are brand new and have been installed for just over a week.

yer i think the psu may be at fault,it has been making a winning noise once switched on ,no warm air i think it maybe that my system is drawing more power than it can handle ,i did check to make sure it would be ok before upgrading my gpu and it was just under max power needed so ive ordered a new one 850 watt psu to see if that stops the problem.
