So i have windows 8.1 and all of a sudden today my bluetooth stopped working. I found that this is a problem many have, and I went through many steps such as uninstalling drivers, starting services ,updating the registery as recommended, and even doing a system restore but to no avail. My problem now is that i have deleted all traces of Bluetooth from the Device Manager except for the Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth Bus. I have gone to my laptops (Lenovo) website and downloaded the most recent drivers but they do not show up in the device manager or say that they are needed. Is there something other than a driver i need to install? Because im sure my hardware is still in the computer :/ Thanks.

PS: I have the Quallcomm Atheros AR956X Wireless Network Adapter, But i was unable to find Bluetooth when looking at the BIOS

*Update* Just today I had some hope that my bluetooth was working but that was quickly dashed. I decided to do a system restore again and out of the blue it worked, except it kept on searching for devices and eventually stopped working and disappeared from the windows pc settings again.
I checked the quallcomm adapter and noticed that it said that the device couldnt start so i tried installing new drivers yet again it did not work an sometimes it told me that i didnt have any drivers installed,i also installed the quallco bluetooth suite and that came to nothing. Each time i would try to fix the issues with the adapter through device manager the little yellow triangle with an exclamation point would disappear but then reappear again . Sometimes the Bluetooth adapter renames itself generic bluetooth adapter as well

I used to have various problems every now and then with my bluetooth but after I updated to Windows 10, so far everything's a lot smoother. Haven't had a single problem with my bluetooth so far.
