Hi All,

I have had this issue for quite sometime..!!!
Got a big query before i move on..!!

Your insights will save my day.!

The following is my RIG.!

Asus Maximus IV Extreme
Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz
Vengeance® — 16GB Quad Channel DDR3 Memory Kit
Enthusiast Series™ TX950
ATI Radeon 5770 HD - 1 GB
Seagate 5400 RPM 500 GB (Music)
Seagate 5400 RPM 1TB (GAMES)
Seagate 7200 RPM 2TB (DATA/Program Files/Backup)
INTEL SSD 40 GB (OS)

My PSU went bad, so it was replaced with HX Series HX1050 Power Supply..
After which it was working fine till about 20 days, after which it failed to boot for more than a second.!

I thought it was the board or the ram or the gpu.
But everything turned out to be fine.
So replaced the HX 1050 yet again.

Now I went through the forum, i was able to find that the problems are with the phase change in the psu, so i have asked for replacing the HX 1050 with the older TX 950...

Is there any work around, without me frying the board?

Kindly let me know your thoughts..!!

Dear All.
Thanks for your valuable inputs..
Its been a year and after changing to TX 850... Its been running smoothly..

It was either they had given me two faulty smps or just bad luck..
They didnt give me an actual reason..
