I have two G.Skill RipJaws X DDR3-1333 1.5V ram cards in my computer. A month ago, I bought a third ram stick from best buy. PNY brand. 4GB DDR3 C0MHH-T-HS PO210436. Since I've bought it, Every now and again, I get a BSOD. I get several ones, but the most common, is PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA. I've also gotten MEMORY MANAGEMETN. and two others I can't remember. I've run memtest on each stick invidivudually and then together, and it detects NOTHING wrong and my computer does recognize itself as having 8gb of ram like it should. I know this ram stick is th eproblem, and I believe it might be because of different voltage? My MOTHERBOARD is an ASROCK 970DE3/U3S3 555xFast model. Is there an incompatibility? or is my voltage not matching?

I don't know what you mean by that? My computer s Blue screening lot. Are you saying that this individual ram stick is not comptabilbe with the two G.Skill ram sticks (which is what I'm guessing you're calling a "kit") and that' why my computer keeps BSOD?

When you buy a kit it has matched sticks. Even if you have a kit of say 2 x 4GB sticks of 1.5v GSkill DDR3 1600 cas 9 and you were to buy another stick of RAM that is the same brand, voltage and timings there is no guarantee it will work with the matched set. There are many sub timings that are generally not adjustable. So yes the oddball stick is the cause of your problems.

would I have to buy the exact same kit so icould incrase my RAM , then? or just buy a higher kit. And if that's true, why would it recognize me as having the ram, and work for a couple days and then randomly BSOD? Does it do it when it reaches a certain ram usage?
