Looking to build a 1k gaming computer within 2 weeks.
Don't really want to go over but i can stretch the prices for an extra hundred or two.
Location is Southern California.
I'm thinking of either buying my parts from newegg, amazon or microcenter, unless someone refers me to another good website.
I need everything but peripherals and a monitor. i might buy a monitor later, but if there is a good monitor up for sale just list it for me.
Don't care about brands, whatever is best.
Not gonna overclock, sli or crossfire now, maybe later in the future.

Wow. That was quick. Thanks for the list.
I was reading other posts and they wrote that they would use ssd cards for the os. I've never used one but they seem pretty interesting. Should I get one if I want to improve os loading performance?

Don't get the unlocked CPU if you're not overclocking. You can also buy a similar H77 mobo instead as well. By extension, you can probably go up a bit in the GPU department.

I was thinking of overclocking this build later in the future. What GPU are you considering over the 670?

Nvm then, go with his build. I was just pointing out that if you didn't want to overclock at all you could cut the parts that allow overclocking to save a bit and invest it somewhere else.
