Computer build with gtx 650ti boost since old com died

Hey guys need your opinion on this build

My old computer recently gave up on me and i have this new build and i have MSI TWIN FROZR GTX 650TI BOOST 2GB i bought about 6 months back and i need ur opinion

Asus maximus VI hero
intel i5-4670 3.4 ghz
G-skil ripjawx 1866mhz 8gb
WD BLUE 7200RPM 1 TB
SEASONIC X Series 750w
Asus 24x dvd writer
cm SCOUT 2

is this build ok for gaming and multi tasking?
do i really need a ssd? cos its really expensive and i would be almost over my budget if i get it. and whats the difference between wd black and blue cos its abt $30 difference where i live.
and will i need a cpu cooler like the CM HYPER T4 OR TX3 or will stock be fine? oh and is this good enough for future upgrading like liquid cooling different gpus etc?

Are you buying the 4670k or the 4670? If you aren't overclocking, you definitely don't need to spend all that money on the Hero, and you don't need a 750w PSU unless you plan on SLI in the future. The SSD should be easily doable if you decrease what you're spending on the motherboard, RAM and PSU. I love the SSD, wouldn't change it for anything. And the WD BLACK is just faster and more reliable.

yes this build is just fine, though you should buy a slightly cheaper motherboard that is still z87, and from there upgrade your cpu to the 4670k

i would suggest going down to 1600mhz to save some money, as you will not notice the speed difference in the ram.

you do not need an ssd, but they are quite nice. the black WD drive is much faster than the blue, so loading and all things that require some form of loading or writing will be faster (faster boot up time, shorter load screens in games)

the cooler is completely up to you, if you choose to overclock (always a good idea in your kind of build, overclocking is safe if done right) then i would suggest at least getting a 212evo cooler from coolermaster

i'd say spend more like $140-150 on your motherboard, instead of the more expensive motherboard. you lose the color scheme, but no actual performance and you save money

I would argue that the WD black is actually not more reliable. Yes it is blazingly fast in comparison to the blue or say the green, but it is one of the few hard drives that actually does produce a noticeable amount of heat. they have built them well, but after doing some research, they have a slightly higher fail rate than their slower counterparts. that being said, the fail rate is still incredibly low, and should not be worried about

It looks pretty good but the psu is more watts than you need unless youre going to sli. If not, save money and get a cheaper psu of 500-600 watts. WD black is a bit faster with read/write times. Since you are not going to overclock b/c there is no k at the end of the cpu, the stock cooling will be fine. You do not need a ssd but if you want it to be as fast as possible an ssd would be the way to go. It should be good enough for future upgrading of graphics cards the cpu is pretty good even though it cant overclock.

If you are not getting the k-version then get almost any run of the mill b87 motherboard

the 4670 is fine, but if you do choose to go with this cpu, then getting the hero motherboard is a waste of money, you could get any cheaper motherboard from asus that is labelled h87, the z87 is for overclocking and goes well with the k-series processors. if you do choose to save that money on the mobo, ram and psu, you could easily afford a much better gpu (probably as high as a 760 with the money saved)
