Computer can’t recognize hard drives

So I bought a new hard drive because I thought my old one was broken but it worked on other computers. I put everything from my old hard drive onto my new one and booted it up but the hard drive didn’t show up in bios this happened before too with the other hard drive. I replaced the mother board and power supply too. Does anyone know why this is happening and when it shows up in bios it says “Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key”.

Do you have options to enable/disable SATA ports in your BIOS? If so, ensure the port in use is set to "enabled".

Did you clone your OS from the old drive? If so, did you clone all partitions?
