Hello!

I have two monitors of the same brand (ASUS VG27AQ1A) running at the same refresh rate (144Hz). In theory, both should have the same default settings. The thing is, I’ve noticed that the older monitor (only one year older than the other) looks slightly dimmer in terms of colors. The difference isn’t huge and is barely noticeable, so I assume it might be due to panel manufacturing variations. The question is, I’m not sure if this is normal or not, since both are IPS panels and even the same model. Is this common?

Thank you so much and have a nice day!

Absolutely "normal".

Some years ago, I bought a 2x set of HP IPS monitors.
Almost sequential serial numbers. Close enough that they probably came off the assembly line the same day.

No amount of fiddling would get them to "exact" display.
Settings, hardware colorimeter, whatever....
Only a tiny diff, but it was there.
