Computer cant find all photos on sdhc card

Hello,
i can view pictures on my sd card on the camera but not on the computer what can i do solve this?

Plug an SD CARD READER into your PC.
Remove card from camera.
Insert card into the SD slot on the card reader.

A window should open.
double-click the folder that's in that window.
You should see all the pictures as thumbnails or files.
