Computer clicks and shuts down randomly.

Hi could anyone help me spot the problem with my pc. recently my pc just clicks and shutsoff off randomly with no warning when doing anything but mostly during games.

Specs
Fx 8320 and
R9 290
650w corsair psu
H440 nzxt
H100i
1 stick 8gb ram
And 7 120cm fans

its your hdd that is making the clicking noises

but a heads up-,-.-,-.- maybe some wires are getting in the way of your fan........that is causing the fan to stop and system oveheats and shuts down

it does it with other hdds and it only clicks once then shuts down

Have you looked at your event logs to see what the "critical errors" are? They should indicate a power problem, a heat problem, or other problem....

Which specific model of Corsair power supply are you using? Also, is your CPU or GPU overclocked?

I am using RM 650w
and nothing is overclocked
