I got a new computer from my friend for Christmas, one of his older ones. It sat in his basement for a few months and is a little dusty, no major damage. He decided to give me two gpus one a low end which was in the computer and another a bit better. I put the better one in without checking if it worked at all and gave the other card away. I don't know if that could be the problem. Besides that everything comes on and lights up, it just won't show video from the dvi or vga. I've taken it apart a few times and was troubleshooting, but nothing.

Computer specs
- motherboard - gigabyte ga-m68mt-s2
- graphics card - gigabyte gtx 760 2gb windforce 2x
- ram - 2x2 ddr3 1600
- hard drive - 500 gb
- cpu - AMD Phenom II X4 Black 960T (I think)
- psu - Turbolink LC-A420ATX 420W ATX (Is this the problem?)
- couple random fans
- dvd port

Solution
Yes it's very likely to be the power supply. You should test the video card in another system though so you are not buying the wrong part. But I'd replace that PSU anyway if you want the computer to run well.
