Question Computer completely freezes

Hello

My computer has been freezing (screen frozen, keyboard unresponsive) and i can't figure out whether it's a software/hardware issue.
Note that it requires a full reboot to fix and it didn't happen after any hardware upgrade.

When does it happen?
-When playing youtube videos (after some time, a few minutes at most)
-When starting hotline miami (but i can play the second one just fine for some reasons ? )

Specs:
-MB: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P
-GPU: Radeon RX 590
-CPU FX-6300
-PSU:Be quiet pure power L8-500W
-RAM: 8GB

What i tried so far:
-sfc / chkdsk
-OCCT
-memcheck
-Swapping GPU (RX-590 -> RX-480)
-Updating my drivers (driver booster)
-Using windows event viewer (not sure if i did it right with this one but i didn't find anything weird)

Hopefully you guys can help me figure out where it's coming from ^^

Uninstall that and run some sort of malware scan

Alrigh, did just that and it still freezes.
Any idea?

Bump, after trying a fresh windows install on a different hardrive it locked up midway and i couldn't even get windows installed. (Former hardrive wasn't even in the case)

I think this rules out software issues ?

I'm a bit lost right now and don't know where it could be coming from.

Run memtest x86

I did and after 4 passes and 6 hours got no errors.
