Hello everyone, I'm new here and I'm not sure this is the correct place to ask but feel free to remove the post if so.

I recently bought an ASUS Strix z790-F Motherboard and 13700K. I assambled everything yesterday and for a couple hours it worked like a charm. But after that my computer froze. I didn't think much of it but since then my computer constantly crashes and freezes almost immediately after boot.

As to what i've tested i did pretty much everything. Reseated everything, tested different memory slot combinations, tested with ssd and HDD, tested different BIOS versions, tested all XMP profiles and no xmp at all. Windows 11, Windows 10. Pretty much everything you can think of. My only lead is is that i sometimes get a "clock watchdog timeout" crash error and prime95 crashes my PC instantly.

Here's my complete build:
CPU: Intel Core i7-13700K 3.4 GHz 16-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory
Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Video Card: Gigabyte GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB Video Card
Case: Lian Li LANCOOL III ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G5 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Thanks a lot for your time.

Edit: memtest all passed. SMART all passed too. Temperatures all look normal (around 40c).

Is the pump connected to the pump header or at least to a header that will run it full out always?

Sounds like your cooler is defective or not mounted well.
Is there software required to manage your cooler?

Temperatures rise over time, and if it gets too hot the pc can shut down to protect itself.

Yeah, it was a faulty CPU, got a replacement and worked just fine.

Wow, Im in your exact situation right now. Game crashes every time I load into anything demanding and I also have a 13700k and Z790-F motherboard with ddr5 6400mhz ram.....currently waiting on RMA'ing the cpu. I also considered that the issue is either the CPU or Motherboard
