Ok, so my computer continually crashes when I start to game. All games have been through steam, though have never caused any problems before. The computer itself has run without problem for 4 months.

What happens is the screen will go black and the computer will shut down without any warning during a game, then will attempt to reboot immediately, then crash again, reboot, and crash all within 5-10 seconds, until the system finally reboots or I get to the plug.

I have tried reinstalling drivers, testing temperatures and looking through event viewer to try and find the problem with no luck. Event finder shows no critical errors, nor any ordinary errors, nothing at all around the time of the crashes, until the reboot.

I'm running an AMD FX8320 and a Gigabyte R9 270. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, so I used windows memory diagnostics tool to check my RAM, which it said had a hardware error. I have 2 sticks and wanted to get back to playing so I thought I'd just pull one stick out, if it crashes then Ill change them, and Ill deal with the dodgy RAM on Tuesday.

So I pulled one out, and now my computer will not start...

good board check your user manual there are some notice to look at for good working and dual channel set up also the last slot is part of b channel so slot 1-3 are a channel and 2-4 are b channel for dual .you could try a module in slot 1 only or slot 2 then you will see if both channel work .
