Computer crashes and sound goes crazy

So I just built my computer about a week ago. Everything worked well, until I started playing Witcher 3. The first two days of Witcher 3 were totally fine, but after those days I started to get regular crashes. Like two crashes a day. The screen would just freeze itself and the sound would go crazy. The only way I'd be able to get out of it was with a hard reboot. The crashes wouldn't happen in any specific moment, just when they felt like it. I also updated windows at the time the crashes started happening, so I have a theory that windows 10 might be the issue. This is not bothering me too much but I would appreciate any help. Note that I'm not going to do any stress tests of any kind if you recommend to do that, or something along tose lines.

Sound goes crazy? can you specify does it loop/stutter? or something else

I never really listened to it that closely, because the sound is really loud and I would take my headphones off immediately.
I don't remember it being a loop though. More like stutter if you mean what I think. It's like the sound cracks. Not once but the hole time. Hard to explain but small cracking sounds the whole time.

Sounds like a hardware failure.. have you tried reinstalling windows too see if that helps at all?

No I haven't. Thanks for the quick answers, you helped a lot. Even if it might not solve the problem, I'm leaving this thread. Basically beacuse it's just too much work for a minor issue in my opinion. No... I'm not lazy.
